``It used to be that a lot of those smears and the crap on the Internet stayed out of the newsrooms of serious journalists,'' Schmidt said at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota.
It's funny how all the smears against Obama had to be played out in the media because "We don't know who he is" and "the American People can decide if these allegations are true" but when questions are asked about Palin it's back to the pity card for the McCain camp.
The McCain campaign is the guy who sat next to you in third grade, who punched you in the arm, and when you punched him back, he ran and told the teacher.
